Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek, a Mexican American actor born to Spanish and Lebanese parents and is Mexican. She came from an Mexico-based Roman Catholic wealthy family. At the age of a small girl, the movie "Willy Woonka" and the Chocolate Factory' was on the screen. While at Mexico City's Universidad Iberoamericana prepared her for working in the field of film. The first time she acted was for a performance in the Mexican TV show "Teresa." When she moved to Hollywood the actress was selected as the role of Antonio Banderas in the movie "Desperado.' Other roles followed, including "Fools Rush in" and Wild Wild West.' The role of 'Desperado'' in Once Upon a Time in Mexico was revived. After that, she established her own production company called "Ventanarosa". The film she first made with her was the Mexican "El Coronel No Teiene Quien Le Escriba. The film was Mexico's official selection for the Oscars for Best Foreign Film. Her producer's role in "Ugly Betty" was another accomplishment. The 1959 Primetime Emmy Awards nominated her for "Outstanding actress in a Comedy Series" in the part of Sofia Reyes. In addition, she endorses various products including 'Avon' as well as Revlon and has her own cosmetics line, products for hair care and skincare under the name of 'Nuance'. She also raised money to purchase vaccines in order to protect neonatal or maternal tetanus.
