Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her role on House. Fox medical series, House. Born in Wayne with a strict Jewish traditions, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in acting at the Tisch School of the Arts. However, very quickly, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes to be seen by the media and simultaneously, she became aware of the devastation of AIDS. Then, she used her experiences and her fame in order to compose and write a musical titled Positive Me in which she was a part of. The first time she was hired, she got her first position at MTV as the host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. She began to appear in TV and film productions following the end of the series. In the beginning, she appeared in smaller roles.
