Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model has retired as an actor. Elson was born in the United States and began in acting as a young model/actress and then as professional actress, is famous for her portrayal of Alice Tyler as seen on the CBS science-fiction drama. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) after she auditioned. The actress continued to appear throughout her career on successful TV shows and Movies of the Week before taking a break from the entertainment industry in order to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen daughter from Kate the actress and Willie. People magazine published a retrospective of Elson's career in 2000. She said that being a teenager who was in the limelight wasn't simple. Born on March 6, 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress was a frequent traveler due to her father's work in advertising. When she was just ten years old, she was living between New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. Andrea was able to win her first performance in San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco supported the show's premise, by saying "ALF is 285 years old, he can drink beer he's old enough. However as ALF gained more popularity with young children, NBC told Fusco it was not appropriate to have him drinking when the children watch because it's not a good image to model. Fusco still believed ALF to be an adult and was able to handle alcohol. The year 1995 was the year he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The treatment was successful and his cancer was in remission until the year 2019. On June 26, 2019 aged 75, he passed away from his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood New Jersey.
