Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English descent. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming in each parent's prior marriages. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated from the city of Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy says the move into London was difficult and that she didn't learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. After 16 she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model who hired her to be model for professional models.
